First, I saw a deer on sunday. It was quietly walking across the quarter mile (a "street" from our dorm to the academic side of campus) minding its own business. It was early on Sunday, and noone else was around. It was sunny and kind of warm, a slight breeze and colored leaves all around. And there it was, taking a stroll this nice November morning. And it was awesome. Imagine seing a deer, a DEER, on a campus. Needless to say it was a fantastic day!
Second, would the weather PLEASE make up its mind?! Warm, cold, freezing, hottttt, cold...! Goddammit, pick one will yah?!
More...Election Day. Everyone is on their toes this evening. At nine, in about three hours, the first results will pop up on every website and every TV channel known to man. It will be everywhere on the news tomorrow, and everywhere else in the world. It is amazing how the entire world is on its toes to see who becomes president in this strange and wonderous country. On my floor you can hear discussions, and TV hosts and so much more going on. I think most of my friends voted, and it's weird to know that they participated in choosing the next American President. It's so weird. But I am proud of them, and I am happy for those who see their candidate step up. I'm just standing on the sideline watching with awe and amaze.
Will post more...Eventually...
Up, up and away. Stay safe and be nice.
