We have kitchen on my floor. A kitchen we all share and it's a privilege not a right, as we were all told not too long ago. And we clean it from time to time. All of us. Just because it becomes too dirty for one person to clean. The deal is that everyone cleans up their own mess, and washes their own dishes. The problem is that we are college students. We are spoiled and disrespectful, we are unable to maintain a healthy level of cleanliness in our kitchen. Or so it would seem at least, because the floor is so dirty you could sink knee-deep in s****, the smell from the trash cans are unbearable, and the dishes seem to have a life of their own.
And it all makes me wonder. Are we not supposed to have the common sense to know that we have to clean up after ourselves? Are we not supposed to be almost grown-up by now? Can we not take care of ourselves and others? Are we THAT helpless?
It's clean now. But for how long?
Up, up and away. Stay safe and be nice.

If you ask me I'd say you should be able to wash it yourselves. But then again, I'm cleaning toilets and hallways on a daily basis..
